PROJECT  R-HOME – Autonómia

PROJECT  R-HOME

2019-10-01 -
2022-04-30

The aim of this international cooperation project was to improve the housing situation and living conditions of Roma communities.

The programme examined the experiences of existing Roma housing initiatives in several major European cities (Paris, Milan, Miskolc, Târgu Mureș and Barcelona) and, based on these, developed methods and recommendations that can help address the housing problems of Roma communities more effectively in the future.

The project’s main activities included international research, organising interviews and focus groups with Roma families and professionals, compiling good practices, holding professional meetings and conferences, and supporting the legal protection and social participation of Roma communities. Its target group was Roma communities and the professionals working with them

The programme resulted in policy recommendations and methods that can be applied in the future.
